Photo Shoot

A. Jenn from here
came over today to do a photo shoot of the boys with her fun new pentax camera. They turned out great and it's been really hard to pick a favorite of each, so I'd be glad to hear which one you like best. She certainly did a great job what with having to chase a wiggly toddler around who liked to smile at her when ever she wasn't holding the camera. And once little A. woke up he kept wanting his binky or he was all wiggly too. Thanks for the great pictures Jenn!!!

I think this one is a favorite for style.

I liked the way this one showed his blue eyes.

And this one is just fun she made it look so good.

One of the only smiles he offered.

And little A. actually smiled once too.

I like the lighting on this one.

A cell phone, one of his favorite toys right now. I like the dim light for this one.

This one is another favorite

The little "gentleman" his expression cracks me up.

Our little teddy bear!!

They're all so fun to have and she was free!! Thanks Jenn!!

Verse for the day:
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is HIS reward. Ps. 127:3

A Walk in the Sunshine (mostly)

Monday is always a slow day for us, trying to get motivated to do something after a busy weekend. Today after nap time A. Deb called and asked if we would like to go walking on the trail near our house. It felt very springish outside (only alittle overcast) so we called Gramma and A. Sue who gladly joined us. It was a lovely walk with lots of spring time sights and smells and very friendly company. We did the whole 3 miles(almost) and had about reached the cars again when a shower caught us. Thankfully it was a warm wet and we were none the worse for our wetting.

Many of these pictures were taken by A. Deb and she somehow escaped getting hers taken.

Phi and little A. sharing their double stroller for the first time.

Kates and her dolly

Kates loving her dolly, or eating her, maybe alittle of both.

Pussy Willows!!?

Maybe they're good to eat??

We saw twin lambs who were quite new, still trembly as they walked around after their mom, and so cute! Also a horse which was a little big for Phi as you can see by the look on his face. He was not sure about Gramma feeding it grass either, just alittle to big for his liking.

Phi wearing Gran'pa's hat to keep away the rain drops.

Kates and Little A. both took naps. Little A. slept the whole time while Kates just snuck in a short one along the way.

Verse of the day:

When HE uttereth HIS voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and HE causeth the vapours to asend from the ends of the earth; HE maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of HIS treasures. Jermemiah 10:13

I Think it's a Guy Thing

Fixin' Things
The Mini Iris are up in our pot and someone is attempting to "work"
in the yard. Let's just poke this around a little...

A few less petals for this one...

Work up the soil a little here and there, get these flowers all fixed up...

Always up for a challenge,
let's see if we can walk the plank here...

About time for this to come off I would say...

Ha! ha! mission accomplished!!

Wheels of any size are always cool!

And this is the way we ride our truck...you can definitely see the guy genes, even this early! :0)

And this is Little A enjoying the view from indoors while we enjoyed the out of doors.

Phi is 14 months today and Little A is 2 weeks and growing.
At the doctor visit today he weighted in at 7.12 lbs. versus 6.12 at four days old!
Happy and healthy, very much a blessing from the Lord.

Verse for the day:
For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else. Isaiah 46:18

Reminds me of a comment G Hayhoe made, that the Lord was thinking of us when He made the earth and created it for our enjoyment. Not all alike but with much diversity of color and life.
