It was time

for a change! We've had a few of those lately.. for the better. We've had two rounds of company in the past weeks and so I was inspired to finally clean up our office/boys bedroom and make it that. The boys now have their own room and we have our room back!! Leroy is officially in with Phi and after crying for a bit last night actually slept through for 10 hours. They sleep in pack n plays side by side and Leroy's crying didn't seem to bother Phi.
We had IOI and her family at the end of June for two nights. It was fun to see how Phi interacted as it was our first guests with children. It was very cute to see PC and he give each other a hug at the end of their visit.
Walla Walla conference was the next weekend and My Love was upstairs taking care of the taping of meetings. The boys did very well and with the help of family it was a good and encouraging time. The readings were on Eph. 2 and I actually got to listen a little as the boys slept through one or two of them since they coincided with morning nap time. We brought the double side by side stroller and that made naps and meal times much easier.
This last weekend Sallad, Grace, Bri and Chatty and The Mr. all came down for a visit. It was a blast especially since it was 4th of July weekend. For pictures of that you'll have to see Jenn's blog as our camera has been MIA since WW conf. Sallad and Grace arrived first on Thursday night and we greeted them with a bit of caos as Dad and uncle AJ had taken advantage of the holiday and were making continued progress on our play house and basement. S & G graciously made themselves at home in spite of the progress continuing until some where around 12:00 am. Sorry, welcome to the Bartlett git'er done schedule. (More changes for the better, the basement now is almost got all the dry wall up and the play house has a roof!) Friday was spent at the Sester park out of town. The day was over cast but perfect for out door games, a competitive game of volley ball was brought to a halt when Sallad's knee gave out. After much speculation, advice and a trip to the ER the prognosis is surgery for a torn something or other. BUMMER DUDE! He was a great sport and even made it to watch fireworks that night at Dave and Jenn's house! The guys put on a great show for us all, though Phi didn't agree! Partially because of it being past bed time and just too much noise for his liking, so he and I adjourned in side to the upstairs window where he seemed to feel safer as he watched for a while before dosing off. Leroy didn't mind at all except to jump a bit on the louder BOOMS from the big ones. Much disc golf was played Saturday and then Sunday we had a meal at meeting in the afternoon followed by special meetings by Doug B. on the Seven Feasts of Jehovah. They were very good but on account of several late nights my concentration was not. Thankfully we have a chart to study and they were also taped. S & G headed home Sunday pm and M & C Monday pm.
Uncle AJ came over again last evening and finished a bit more of the basement drywall. It's going to be so fun to have it finished. We are having 90+ degree days this week but you wouldn't know it in the basement. So there's no pictures to relieve this lengthy post , but at least you know a bit of what we've been up to.

Thanks! now there's actually a post to go with the "it was time" I accidentally pushed publish after typing in the title. But no one but you would have known. :0)

If you post and then want to un post, you can always just hit "edit" and then "save as draft" and it unposts it, saving it as a draft instead. I have had to do that several times!

Hey, great new look for your blog, Sarah! - I was a little confused at first, and was like, "....hey, where's Sarah's blog...?" :)

Thanks for your long and informative post! It was great to read what you all have been up to, even though I've been up to a lot of those things with you guys - it was just nice to have a little rundown on what we've been doing. All these busy weeks just seem a blur to me! :)
